First a little Explanation of equipment used and conditions. A 4 Megapixel Fujifilm camera (top of the range in its day, second visit in 2005) Setting night-shot with max resolution setting. 3 times optical zoom.
Taken around 11 pm at night in winter time. Road was deserted as it was a Tuesday and late and cold with drizzle. The spots in the pictures that looked like orbs are simply raindrops on the lens and not related to the object I was attempting to photograph.
The pictures, when uploaded to a PC showed blackness except for the light itself.
Each picture was passed through one auto-level click in Photoshop and immediately re-saved sa jpeg and to my delight it brought up a dim but easily recognisable view of the road and surrounding trees. All pics are available in their original form so the procedure could be repeated by anyone who wants to do the same.
